Believing in you vs your dreams!
I’m settling in the notion of understanding that believing in a person is not the same as believing in their dreams. I think that it’s very essential to say that I believe in you. I think that translates to whether or not you have a functioning ability, whether or not you have a working plan, whether or not you have something that you’re working towards. I trust in your capacity to birth something. I believe in your ability to make the most of even the things that look like they’re not going to work.
I think that saying to a person, “I believe in you,” means that I trust the reality of what you even consider just a dream at the moment. I trust your opinion. I totally trust your thought process. I trust your ability to desire, and I believe in your capacity to bring to life what you desire. “I believe in you”essentially says that when you appear to me, the totality of your existence is valid. Everything that you say to me is something that I trust, and I believe that you can manifest and actualize them.
It’s totally different when I say to you, “I believe in your dreams.” It means that what I’m believing is what you’ve explained to me — the materials, the things that you’re putting together, or what you’re currently working on. So, saying to you that I believe in your dreams means that I believe in the activities that you’ve got going. But saying that I believe in you means that I believe in your person, whether or not you’ve got something going.
I trust that you’re able to birth something, and I’m just learning that those things are two different things. But I’m very, very excited at the clarity that I’ve gotten. So, I would like to say that if you believe in the totality of a person, it’s more valid to say to them, “I believe in you.” But if you believe in an activity that they’ve got going on, in an agenda that they’re putting together, you could say to them, “I believe in your dreams.”
But I think something that is really powerful is, “I believe in you.” It’s you as a person — whether or not you birth something, whether or not you’re working on something, even in your resting period and even in your waiting season — I believe in you.
