OPEN HEART - I need you to save me from myself

Dear God, I need you to save me from myself. My thoughts and desires are powerful. I need you to help me know when it’s me. 

Let me know when it’s me.

I had thought about it; my ideas, my motives, my intentions, oh I hate to go on. I would end up a mess without you. 

Please save me from myself, my lack of belief, my broken faith, my fears, my heart and inability to comprehend what you intend to do with me. 

I run way too much. I find it hard to say “let your will be done” because how? I understand that laying my life is costly, but missing your will? It’s costlier. Save me from myself. 

My heart sometimes doesn’t want to be here, my flesh sometimes doesn’t desire your feet. I would honest. Save me from myself. Sometimes I am mad at you for what  you put me through and I could never understand the idea of pruning, but I want to trust you still. 

Save me from myself, from spiritual self sabotage. I need to recognize when it’s me and my desires and when it’s your will. Again, you know what a mess I am when I drive myself. Please Lord, save me from me. 

I also cuss myself out and I throw words at people, sometimes I don’t even represent you. Forgive me, save me from myself. My pride, anger, bitterness. Save me
