IN AWE OF YOU

 Dear God, 

I stand in Awe of You.

The totality of My Existence is You.

You make no mistakes, God, you are Good. 

Over and over, I wonder. Who am I that you so love me and show me compassion.

How can you call me your own? You know that I tell you that even me wouldn’t pick myself if I had to pick. 

Yet over and over, you say yes to me. You welcome me. You allow me bask in your majesty and to behold your glory. Who am I?

God, I stand in awe of you. That you knew me before you formed me? That’s a beautiful way to be know. You know everything about me. That’s a beautiful way to be placed. 

I am in Awe of you. I sometimes shy away from beholding your glory because who am I to stand in your presence? But your mercy and grace yet qualify me. 

Just like my spiritual mother would say, “if you were the only one on earth, God would still send his only son to die for you”. 

Truthfully so, that’s who you are and it’s nothing compare to all that you are.

I stand in awe of you. I stand in reverence of you.
