God- Your will

When I am stuck or trying to make a decision. It’s very relieving to say “God, your will”, as much as sometimes, it might be hard to accept it.

Saying “God, your will”, helps me acknowledge God in the midst of all.

It clears my mind and reassures me that if God be for me, nothing would be against me.

My conscious action of asking for God’s will strengthens my heart towards the situation. I gain clarity as regards to timing and I am assured that as much as it might look confusing or too real, there is a God’s purpose for it coming my way.

I must mention that to ask for God’s will isn’t the easiest thing. Because for 70% of the time I have asked for his will as regards my purpose, God sent me far, far away from home, into the unknown.

But I just understand, God is perfect in all of his ways. His will would never never ever harm me or hurt my household. In saying God, your will. I am saying I trust you, God to make this decision for me. To walk with me. To go before me and make the crooked places straight. I trust you to give me the strength to accept that not all I want is meant for me. And that you know best. So, when I lose what wasn’t meant to stay, I will find my way to your presence, understanding you are perfect in all your ways. Cry and grieve if I have to. Get up and trust you again.

So, God for the next season of my life. For that job, for that relationship, for that partnership, for that finances, for that place of worship, for that impact, for that hope. God- Your Will.

Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and he will direct your path.  PROVERBS 3: 5-6
