We’ve grown

 We used to text 5:30am 

Used to laugh so hard. 

I used to have your back. 

It isn’t so strange,

Our current stage. 

I knew 20 kids would never 

play 20 years. 

But we were only two, 

So I was thinking of a tale for two. 

A friend would say (lukatew),

Well, yes look at me. 

I was thinking of dinner by the water. 

A hug after my return. 

But after it’s been said and done. 

We’ve grown. 

We’ve grown 

And our arms can’t hold us in warm 

Embrace. 

We’ve found love in another place. 

We’ve grown and that’s perfectly okay.
