I was wondering if you would like to do dinner by the water side?
Just you and I watching the sun go down.
I could talk about that which grew into the one that now looks at you; I could tell you the tales of my childhood.
I could talk about everything I want to try.
And I could watch you smile closely for the first time in a long while.
I could feed you if you want, I am desperate to forget the memories of my before. And I could revisit the old dance floor. I could laugh and watch you do the same.
So when you laugh, I would.
When you touch my palms, I would smile.
So, just for tonight; we could play a love song that we’ve not heard in a while.
So when it’s late, it would fade into the night. Hide and seek is another thing we could try. You would find me.
We would have fun, but I would leave a letter on the table when you turn.
It would say;
Today, it was “I”, let’s do it your way tomorrow. Same time, different place. And next tomorrow, let’s say farewell, because I wasn’t designed to stay.
