Again

 What’s on your mind: I have you, roses, polar bears, palm wine, lots of thoughts, some of it doesn’t sit right. 

But the day that I saw you, I had the perfect thoughts, it wasn’t about your hairline, it was about the way you spoke. 

It felt like everything I know, and I wanted so much for this to be a thing. 

I adored the sight of you. And It all felt perfect with you. I don’t know anymore, I never would. 

I forgot how, I never want learn anymore. It hurts; the thoughts of us. 

My heart is shrinking, I would never allow it live. 

And I am sorry, that I tried to make us a thing. It wasn’t worth it. 

Forgive my thoughts, I was led astray, goodnight, I don’t know if to hope to see you again.

 I liked it when I made you laugh. I liked it when you giggled hard. 

My thoughts led me astray, my heart might shrink till my hair turns gray.

 I am hoping not. I desire to love again.
