LAST CHRISTMAS

The Lagos I Woke Up To.
Wonderful Weather I Had Thought Through The Night as The Breeze Was High.
It Was Cut Off By My Morning Alarm, I Faked A Smile As I Said My Morning Prayer.
Time To Bath: Alas! No Water. I Chose To Fetch, Mehn, You Needed To See The Crowd, I Manage To Get Water, Before I Could Take My 5th Step A Fight Broke Out. Well, I Survived.
Thank God We Had Light I Ain't So Much Of A Mess, But That Wouldn't Last.. There Isn't Traffic But The Rate Of Fare Is Scary. Yet, People Are Rushing. Lagos Of Life.
The Queue From The Fueling Station Leaves Me In Shock. Lagosians Are Vexing , They Ain't Even Laughing To Jokes Except Those That Know There Is Hope.
And Here I Am, In My Zone Without A Christmas Soul, But I Pray This Season Ignites Hope.
